Corey Poyner drives the #11 Mini Sprint Class car.  His home track is Thunder Valley Raceway but he can also be found racing at Lawrenceburg Speedway.  He lives in Memphis, IN.

He started racing in 2001 in the Mini Sprint Class at Thunder Valley Raceway after his uncle got him into racing and it grew from there.  His first win was in 2005 in the Mini Sprint Class at Thunder Valley Raceway.  Career highlights include 2001 Rookie of the Year, first Feature win in 2005.

The thrill of racing for Corey is the rush, getting to do what he does and knowing a lot of other people who love to do it too.  His most exciting racing moment was with two laps to go in the Feature, long time friend Doug Jones and Corey racing through turn three, wheel to wheel and making the winning pass.  He's most proud of just getting to drive, going week in and week out, driving because Corey loves to.
