Jim Walter Jr. drives the #81 Mini Stock
Class car. His home track is Thunder Valley Raceway.
He lives in Jeffersonville, IN.

Jim started racing in 1992 in the Mini
Stock Class at Charlestown Speedway as he had been around racing all of
his life. His first win was in 2005 in the Mini Stock Class at
Thunder Valley Raceway. Career highlights include finishing 3rd in
the Points and Rookie of the Year at Charlestown Speedway his first
year, 2 Feature wins and 3 Heat wins in 2005, Championship Crew Chief
for his brother at Salem Speedway in 1999 in Mini Stocks.
The thrill of racing for Jim is going
fast and the competition. His most exciting racing moment was
winning his first Feature in 2005. He's most proud of consistent
finishes and well built race cars.
2007 was an unbelievable year,
with 9 feature wins, 13 top 4 finishes...all out of 14 races. Jim
won the 2007 Thunder Valley Raceway Mini Stock Champion
