Roger Snell

Roger Snell drives the #8 Truck Class.
His home track is Thunder Valley Raceway but he can also be found racing
at Bardstown Speedway and Twin Cities Raceway Park. He lives in
Hanover, IN.

He started racing in 1994 in the Trucks
Class at Salem Speedway because his Father raced when Roger was a little
boy. Roger was raised around racing. His first win was in
1998 in the Trucks at Bardstown Speedway. Career highlights
include finishing 2nd in Points 3 times, and trying to win the
Championship in 2005. 6 Feature wins in 2005 so far. He's
currently in 1st place in the Points. He's been in P.T.R.A. Trucks
for 11 years.
The thrill of racing for Roger is
getting his adrenaline pumping and racing with good friends. "Now
this is relaxing?". His most exciting racing moment was winning
his first fair night at Thunder Valley Raceway after winning on the last
lap of the last turn with a big crowd watching. He's most proud of
helping others, being President of PTRA and in the PTRA Circle of
Owners.
Roger's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt
and his Father.
