Jim Turner drives the #99 Sidewinder Class
car. His home track is Bakersfield Raceway but he can also be
found racing at Thunder Valley Raceway and Stateline Speedway. He
lives in Bloomington, IN.
Team members helping Jim are:
Robert and Arin McIntosh.
Jim started racing in 1971 in the NASCAR
Busch Class in southern California because he loved it. His first
win was in 2003 in the 250 Class at Bakersfield Raceway. Career
highlights include Bakersfield 250 Track Champion in 2003, Miami County
250 Track Champion 2004, and set a new track record at Southern Illinois
Speedway in 2004 at Nationals.
The thrill of racing for Jim is the
competition. His most exciting racing moment was winning his first
Championship. He's most proud of his Championships and all the
friends he has made.
Jim's racing hero is Mark Martin.
Of racing, Jim says, "Racing is one of
the best sports around for the whole family!".
