Steve Tanner

Steve Tanner drives the #23 Bomber Class car.  He lives in Richmond, IN.  His home track is Union County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Montpelier Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1993 in the Pure Stock Class at Union County Speedway for the challenge, the thrill and fun.  His first win was that same year.  He had 3 Feature wins that first year. 

The thrill of racing for Steve is putting it on t he edge of out of control.  His most exciting racing moment was starting last and winning the Feature.  He's most proud of building his own car and racing it.

Cale Yarborough is Steve's racing hero.

Of racing, Steve says, "Go fast, turn left.....rubbin is racin!".
