Pete started racing in 1976 in the Go
Kart Class at Madison, IN because it was just a natural fit growing up
around a family of race car nuts! His first win was that same
year. Career highlights include 1996 Late Model Champion at Salem
Speedway (Only year NASCAR sanctioned), tied for all time Late Model
victories at Salem Speedway, set fastest lap ever recorded in a stock
car at Salem Speedway, many Feature wins in Super Lates at Winchester

The thrill of racing for Pete is the
satisfaction of knowing on that particular day, he has done better than
anyone else. His most exciting racing moment was when he won a
Super Late Model race at Salem Speedway, beating NASCAR star Ernie Ervan
at Salem Speedway in 1992. He's most proud of always fielding a
competitive car and running up front.
Pete's racing hero is Cale Yarborough.
Of racing, Pete says, "Good family
orientated sport!".
