Bubba Trinkle drives the #3 Super Stock Class car.  His home track is Salem Speedway but he can also be found racing at Bluegrass Speedway and Thunder Valley Speedway. 

Team members helping Bubba are:  Tony Trinkle, Richard Gilliatt, Mike Trinkle.  Rapidfire Motorsports is the car owner.

He started racing in 1991 in the Mini Late Model Class at Thunder Valley Raceway because his family has been racing since 1940.  His first win was in 1993 in the Mini Late Models at Thunder Valley Raceway.  Career highlights include 1999 PTRA Points Champion at Thunder Valley Speedway, Sportsdrome, North Vernon and Bluegrass Speedway.  2001 NAPA Main 100 winner, Salem Speedway 2001 Rookie of the Year. 

The thrill of racing for Bubba is putting all your problems behind and going as fast as you can.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the NAPA Auto Main 100.  He's most proud of being able to build other cars for people.

Bubba's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Bubba says, "When everything is set up at the track right there is nothing better to watch.  Don't lose before you get there!".
