John Oliver Jr. drives the #05 B-Modified
Class car. His home track is Lee County Speedway but he can also be
found racing at 34 Raceway, Knoxville Raceway, Iowa State Fair Speedway,
Knox County Fairgrounds, and Scotland County Speedway. People who

John started racing in 2000 in the Thunder
Class car at 34 Raceway because of the strong family racing background.
He began racing Go-Karts early in his life. His first win was in
2000 in the Thunder Class car at 34 Raceway. Career highlights
include 2004 Lee County Speedway Champion in Hobby Stock, 2004 Dirt Track
Challenge Champion in Hobby Stock, several victories in 2002-2003 in Hobby
Stock which lead him to a 4th place and 2nd place finish in the Points.
The thrill of racing for John is side by
side racing would be his answer if he could only give one. His most
exciting racing moment was racing stock cars in his Hobby Lobby at
Knoxville, IL. and spanking their a**es! He's most proud of his
improvement as a driver and learning the art of patience, which lead to
his advancement is classes.
John's racing hero is his Dad.
Of racing, John says, "You can have all
the money you want in your car/engine but if you can't drive, you're not
going to win!".
