Lorin Johnson drives the #3 IMCA Late Model Class car.  His home track is Dakota State Fair Speedway but he can also be found racing at 34 Raceway.  He lives in Miller, SD.  People who help Lorin are:  Wilbur Johnson, Lane, Luke & Barb Johnson, plus family and friends.  George Murdock is the car owner.

He started racing in 1981 in the Street Stock Class at Dakota State Fair Speedway because the "chicks dig it!".  His first win was in 1981 in the Street Stock Class at Central Speedway.  Career highlights include 1991 Wissota Modified National Champion, plus 18 Track  Championships. 

The thrill of racing for Lorin is making that sweet pass after trying for 20 laps to make the pass.  His most exciting racing moment was that first win.  He's most proud of the kids-based fans that we have.

Lorin's racing hero is his Father, Wilbur Johnson.
