Michael started racing in 1993 in the Modified Class at 34 Raceway.  His first win was in 1996 in the Modified Class at 34 Raceway.  Career highlights include 2000 South East Iowa Dirt Track Champion.

His most exciting racing moment was finishing in 3rd place at USMTS.

Michael's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
