 Zac Smith

#18z

Zac Smith drives the #18z IMCA Hobby Stock Class car.  His home track is   I-35 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Hancock County Speedway and Algona Raceway.  He lives in Mason City, IA.

Team members helping Zac are:  Wesley Steward, Dad, Jessica, Mom, Jake Bell and all his sponsors.

Zac started racing in 2009 in the Hobby Stock Class at I-35 Speedway because of family and Grandpa raced.  His first win was in '12 in the Hobby Stock Class at Algona Raceway.  Career highlights include win in Algona Raceway, mutiple Top 4's and Heat wins.

The thrill of racing for Zac is the adrenaline rush and he loves to be competitive.  His most exciting racing moment was Boone Super Nationals, '11 missing Big Dance by one spot.  He's most proud of his win and Top 4 finishes and how far he's come since he started.

Zac's racing hero is his Grandpa, Jim Smith.

Of racing, Zac says, "A lot harder than it looks!".

His favorite racing website is www.racingjunk.com
