Matt Irwin drives t he #73m B-Modified Class car.  His home track is Jackson County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cedar County Speedway and Davenport Speedway.  He lives in Maquoketa, IA.  People who help Matt are:  Bill Mahoney, Andy, John Erwin, Anthony Eads, Paul Eads, Mitch Schmidt.

Matt started racing in 2002 in the B-Modified at Cedar County Speedway because his Dad raced.  His first win was in 2003 in the B-Modified Class at Jackson County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Matt is the speed going into the corner.  His most exciting racing moment was the night his Dad knocked his off the race track at Cedar County Speedway.  He's most proud of not going broke.

Matt's racing hero is his Dad, John Irwin.
