Jeff Morris

Jeff Morris drives the #7 A-Modified Class car.  His home track is Cedar County Speedway.  He lives in McCausland, IA.

Team members helping Jeff are:  Ben Jamison, Bean McCall, John Neilson, and Mitch Morris.  Terry Jamison is the car owner.

Jeff started racing in 1984 in the A-Modified Class at Quad City Speedway and Hawkeye Raceway after racing motorcycles, he got tired of getting hurt.  His first win was in 1986 in the A Modified Class at Quad City Speedway.  Career highlights include 12 Track Championships, 118 Feature wins and 1996 Illinois State Champion.

The thrill of racing for Jeff is beating the younger guys.  His most exciting racing moment was winning $2000 to win in 2004 in the last corner of the last lap and winning first Track Championship in 1991 at Cedar County Speedway.  He's most proud of being able to still have as much fun now as he did when he started.

Jeff's racing heroes are John Nielson and the late Ronnie Weedon.

Of racing, Jeff says, "It keeps you humble!".
