Tim Arp
#15J
Tim Arp drives the #15J V-8 Class car.
His home track is Davenport Speedway but he can also be found racing at
Jackson County Speedway. He lives in Donahue, IA.
Team members helping Tim are:
Brian Gade, Bart Miller, Wayne Arp, Delmar Gade, Dave Berry.
He started racing in 1991 in the Bomber
Class at Cedar County Speedway because he'd been going to Davenport
Speedway every Friday night with his Dad, who sold beer in the stands
and Tim got hooked. His first win was in 1994 in the Bomber Class
at Cedar County Speedway. Career highlights include Feature win in
V-8 at Cedar County Speedway in 2003.
The thrill of racing is when your car is
just right and you can race up front. His most exciting racing
moment was the win at Cedar County Speedway and the Fair Race at Jackson
County Speedway in '03. He's most proud of trying to be a clean
racer and he's racing a car that they built themselves.
Tim's racing hero is Davey Allison.
Of racing, Tim says, "If you keep it
fun, there's nothing better!".
