Matt Zumwalt drives the #28z Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Davenport Speedway but he can also be found racing at Jackson County Speedway.  He lives in Davenport, IA.

Team members helping Matt are:  Charlie Zumwalt, Randy Simmons.  Matt and Charlie Zumwalt are car owners.

Matt started racing in 2001 in the Hobby Stock Class at Cedar County Speedway because of Geigle family racing and his Grandfather raced Midgets.  Career highlights include finishing 8th in Points at Davenport Speedway in 2004.

The thrill of racing for Matt is the sound of the headers.  His most exciting racing moment was running up front in a Heat for most of the laps and then driving off the track on the white flag lap.  He's most proud of being a clean and safe driver.

Matt's racing hero is his Dad.
