Leon Wilson drives the #9 Modified Class
car. His home track is Farley Speedway but he can also be found
racing at Dubuque Speedway and Echo Valley Speedway. He lives in
Hopkinton, IA. People who help Leon are Craig Wilson, Dave Wilson,
Wes Wilson, Jared Murray and Dan Burbridge.
He started racing in 2002 in the
B-Modified Class at Farley Speedway because Grandpa wanted to. His
first win was in 2003 in the B-Modified Class at Farley Speedway.
Career highlights include finishing 4th in the Points in 2002, 5th in 2003
in the B-Modified Class.
The thrill of racing for Leon is the
adrenaline rush you get and it's fun. His most exciting racing
moment was winning his first race and making the show at the Yankee last
year. He's most proud of everything we have done.
Leon's racing hero is Bill Elliott.
