Milton Moorman drives the #117 Modified Class car.  His home track is Hawkeye Raceway but he can also be found racing at Boone IA.  He lives in Davenport, IA.

Team members helping Milton are:  Brian Mallette, Doug Moorman, Dennis Shippey, Richard Mallette, Robin Moorman, Angela Moorman.  The car owner is Milt Moorman.

Milton started racing in 1974 in the Motorcycle Class at Condova Dragway because his father raced in the B Stock in the '50's and '60's.  His first win was in 1985 in the Street Stock Class at Hawkeye Raceway.  Career highlights include Midseason Champion, Season Champion, Points Champion in 1988, 37 wins and 105 top 10 finishes, Competing in IMCA Nationals every year and racing with Ken Schrader from Nextel. 

The thrill of racing for Milton is the kids in the pits and stands and being stopped on the street.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Championship in 1988.  His father passed away in 1986 and we did it for him.  Racing at Davenport Speedway against Ken Schrader.  He's most proud of helping other drivers get started, being known as a good and clean driver and having kids say you are their favorite.

Of racing, Milton says, "Families should enjoy it.  Come and drive from the stands.  We need all the help we can get!".
