Joel Rock drives the #40 Dwarf/Mod Lite Class car.  His home track is Hawkeye Raceway.  He lives in West Liberty, IA.  People who help Joel are:  Sonny Hahn, James Rock, Heidi Rock, Shirley Rock.

He started racing in 1978 in the Street Stock Class at Hawkeye Raceway for the excitement.  His first win was in 1980 in the Street Stock Class at West Liberty Raceway.  Joel has been out of racing since 1980, just getting back into it in 2005.

The thrill of racing for Joel is the competition.  He's most proud of being with his family.  Joel's racing heroes are Tom, Raymond, James, Kurt and Kevin.
