Darren Norton drives the #7 Mod Lite Class car.  His home track is Hawkeye Raceway.  He lives in Moline, IL.  People who help Darren are:  Don Norton, David Norton, Jeff Norton.

Darren started racing in 1992 in the Street Stock Class at Quad City Speedway because it was a family tradition.  His first win was in 1995 in the Pro Stock Class at Quad City Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Darren is to go fast, turn left better than the other guy.  His most exciting racing moment was racing Ronnie Weedon in a Late Model during Darren's first year and having to have a judgment call on who won....Ronnie got it!  Darren is most proud of finishing 2nd in Late Model Points at Hawkeye Raceway.

Darren's racing heroes are Mr. Ralph and Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Darren says, "There's not much more fun than doin it in the dirt!".
