Mike Shrope drives the #54 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Cedar County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Jackson County Speedway.  He lives in Clarence, IA. 

Team members who help Mike are:  Zack Holerud, Nick Shrope, George Gibbons, David Shrope, Gail Shrope, Brenda Gildsons and Della Shrope.

He started racing in 1998 in the Two Man Cruiser Class at Cedar County Speedway for fun.  His first win was in that same year.  Career highlights include winning 6 Features in his Cruiser and always finishing in the top 5 in Points each season.

The thrill of racing for Mike is winning and the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was the first time he won in Street Stock Class.  He's most proud of winning which makes it all worth it.

Of racing, Mike says, "Not as easy as it looks!".
