Jeff Specht drives the #38 Hobby Class car. He lives in Maquoketa, Iowa. His home track is Jackson County Speedway.

He began racing in 2001 in Hobby Class at Jackson County Speedway because he wanted to try driving instead of building. Career highlights include 7 Heat Race wins and 2nd  in Feature-5 times.

The thrill of racing for Jeff is the adrenalin rush. His most exciting racing moment was driving side by side for 11 of 12 laps with Jon Poll. He is most proud of building his own engines and running with the other guys.

Jeff's racing heroes are Ray Guss Jr., Ryan Jamison and Bobby LaBonte.

Of racing, Jeff says, "Try it once and you'll be hooked".
