Bret Mellenberndt drives the #97 Non Winged Sprint Class car.  His home track is Rapid Speedway but he can also be found racing all over!  He lives in Sioux Falls, SD.

Team members helping Bret are:  Bill Mellenberndt, Steve Peterson.  Mellenberndt Racing is the car owner.

Bret started racing in 1987 in the Ice Racing Motorcycles on a frozen lake because his brother was still doing a lot of motorcycle racing, so Bret started.
