Casey "Racer Chick" Schaefer

Casey Schaefer drives the #11 Pure Stock Class car.  Her home track is   Belle-Clair Speedway, but she can also be found racing at Highland Speedway, Tri-City Speedway, I-55 Raceway.  She lives in Millstadt, IL.

Team members helping Casey are:  Bryan Baker, Mark Schaefer, Danna Jouglard, Gary Groom, James Franklin. 

Casey started racing in 2004 in the Pure Stock Class at Highland Speedway because it's in her blood!  Her Dad has raced for 30 years as well as her Grandpa.  Casey grew up in the garage helping her Dad and he said that if she wanted to race, as soon as she was old enough, she could.  When she turned 15 they got a car and she began her racing career!  Her first win was a Heat Race in '04.  Career highlights include '04 Pure Stock Rookie of the Year at Belle-Clair Speedway, finishing 5th in the Points in Pure Stock in '05 and finishing 2nd in the Points in Pure Stock in '06.

Her most exciting racing moment was her first Feature win and placing 2nd in the Points in '06, both of which she is most proud.

Casey's racing hero is her Dad, Shawna Robinson.

Of racing, Casey says, "Just go to a race one time if you have never been.  I can almost promise you'll love it!  Seven days without racing makes one   weak!".
