Harold Sommer drives the #13 Hornet Class car.  His home track is Bureau County Speedway.  People who help Harold are:  Sommer Racing Team, Grandson, Jake B T, Bells Racing Team, the Braddy Bunch.

Harold started racing in 1980 in the Street Stock Class at Mendota Speedway because he'd always wanted to.  He didn't race again until 2003.  His first win was in 2004 in the Hornet Class at Bureau County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Harold is the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won his first race.  He's most proud of his Grandson. 

Harold's racing hero is his son, Randy.

Of racing, Harold says, "Don't do it!'.
