Travis Denning

Travis Denning drives the #56 Limited Late Model/Sportsman Class car.  He lives in Deer Grove, IL.  His home track is Bureau County Raceway but he can also be found racing at Freeport Super Speedway and Tipton International Speedway.

He started racing in 1996 in Go Carts moving up to Street Stock in 1998 at Freeport Super Speedway because he'd wanted to all of his life and his Dad had raced.  His first win was in 1999 in the Street Stock Class at Bureau County Raceway.  His first Feature win was his first Late Model race.

The thrill of racing for Travis is throwing her in the corner and letting her eat!  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 1st with his close friend finishing 2nd.  He's most proud of being 18 and able to win against drivers that are older and have more laps around the track than him.

Scott Bloomquist is Travis's racing hero.

Of racing, Travis says, "If you think you're gonna make money, in racing, don't even buy a car!".
