John Provenzano drives the #7p Late Model
Class car. His home track is Kankakee Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Fairbury Speedway and Bureau County Speedway. He
lives in Marseilles, IL. People who help John are: Steve Hann
(car owner), Jim Thorsen, Warren Xstew and Tim Provenzano.
John started racing in 1971 in the
Sportsman Class at Santa Fe because his Dad raced. His first win was
that same year. Career highlights include 7 Late Model
Championships, 6 200 Lapper wins and 2 wins in 2005 so far.
The thrill of racing for John is the
competition. His most exciting racing moment was winning the 200
Lappers. He's most proud of winning 450 Feature wins in his career!
John's racing hero is Buddy Baker.
