Mark Sutton Sr. drives the #97x Hornet Class car.  His home track is Bureau County Speedway.  He lives in Neponset, IL. 

Team members helping Mark are:  Bexy (daughter), Ron (brother-in-law), and various others at the track. 

Mark started racing in 2004 in the Hornet Class at Bureau County Speedway after being a part of the pit crew for 11 years.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2 Heat wins in 2004 at Bureau County Speedway and 1 Heat win so far in 2005.

The thrill of racing for Mark is getting to speed and getting away with it.  His most exciting racing moment was winning for the first time.  He's most proud that he has two race cars.

Mark's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Kookie Wetsel.

Of racing, Mark says, "It's fun if you can afford it.  If racing's what you wanna do, JUST DO IT!  Don't let anybody stop you!".
