Eric Provance
#31
Eric Provance drives the #31 Street Stock
Class car. His home track is Bureau County Speedway but he can
also be found racing at LaSalle Speedway, Macon County Speedway, Quad
City Speedway and Freeport Raceway Park. He lives in Princeton,
IL.
Team members helping Eric are:
Knuck, Goat, Pops.
Eric started racing in 2004 in the
Hornets Class at Bureau County Speedway because he has always been
around the speedway, working a corner, class director, board member and
finally racer. Career highlights include perfectly landing a
double end over end into a triple barrel roll, back onto all four wheels
in his Hornet at BCS in 2004. He then proceeded to get out of the
car and do the Hulk Hogan leg drop on the roof.
The thrill of racing for Eric is man and
machine vs man and machine. His most exciting racing moment was
watching a dream come true and having a big show and BCS in 2004...extra
sweet that Birky won it. He's most proud of actually getting out
there and racing.
Eric's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Of racing, Eric says, "They can't put it
in you and they can't take it out of you. Don't let your
meatloaf!".
Eric's favorite racing website is
