Danny Haynes

Danny Haynes drives the #23D Hornet Class car.  He lives in Hume, IL.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also be found racing at Vermilion County Speedway.

He started racing in 2003 in the Hornet class at Charleston Speedway because he loves it. 

The thrill of racing for Danny is being beaten and banging while driving as fast and hard as you can.  His most exciting racing moment was the first time he lead 9 laps only to have a yellow flag thrown and lost his lead. 

Danny's racing hero is his Dad, Virgil Haynes.
