 Kaleb Wood

Kaleb Wood drives the #72w Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can be found racing at Lincoln Speedway, Fairbury Speedway, Macon Speedway, Clay County Speedway and Farmer City Raceway.  He lives in Sullivan, IL.

Team members helping Kaleb are:  Grandpa Ron and Mom - Peggy.

Kaleb started racing in 2010 in the Sportsman Class at Fayette County Speedway because it's been in his family and he loves it.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year in Street Stock at Fayette County Speedway in '12, finished in 8th in Points in B-Mods at Fayette County Speedway in '12.

The thrill of racing for Kaleb is going fast and getting sideways.  His most exciting racing moment was winning a Heat race out of turn 4 while going 3 wide at Fayette County Speedway in B-Mods.  He's most proud of not flipping yet.

Kaleb's racing hero is his Grandpa Ron.

Of racing, Kaleb says, "It's fun and the Rednecks stay in the drinking section, so bring a car load of friends every weekend to your local dirt track....just stay in the family section!".
