David Shain drives the #87 Modified
Class car. His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also
be found racing at Fayette County Speedway, Springfield Mile Speedway,
DuQuoin Fairgrounds Speedway, Farmer City Raceway, Lincoln Speedway and
Terre Haute Action Track. He lives in Humboldt, IL.

David started racing in 2001 in the
Street Stock Class at Charleston Speedway because he grew up around it
and is a 3rd generation driver.
His first win was that same year. Career highlights include '07
Charleston Speedway Street Stock Track Champion, finished 9th in the
State of Illinois '07 UMP, '11 Mike Heddins Memorial Winner and 70+ Feature wins.
The thrill of racing for David is his
love for driving fast. His most exciting racing moment was winning
'11 Mike Heddins Memorial, racing the DuQuoin Mile. He's most
proud of learning a lot, getting better and meeting great people.
