Josh Griffith drives the #97 Super Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also be found racing at Clay County Speedway.  He lives in Charleston, IL.

Team members helping Josh are:  Jake, Zac, Matt, Brian, Jeff, Mom, Dad, Gary, Nathan, Tonya, Butch, Uncle Jim and Aunt Patsy.  Griffith Family Motorsports is the car owner.

Josh started racing in 1997 in the Modified Class at Sullivan Speedway because it's in the family.  Josh is a 3rd generation driver.  His first win was in 2006 in the Super Street Stock Class at Clay County Speedway.  Career highlights include 7 wins in 2006 so far - 4 at Charleston Speedway and 3 at Clay County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Josh is the speed.  His most exciting racing moments are his first career win, finishing 2nd (starting 11) in Big Show at Charleston Speedway and winning a Heat Race at Terre Haute Action Track in a Modified Class car.  He's most proud of the fun he's had.

Josh's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
