Greg Short drives the #9s Modified Class car.  He lives in Mattoon, IL.  His home track is Charleston Speedway.

He started racing in 2001 in the Modified Class at Charleston Speedway.  His first win was in 2003 in the Modified Class at Charleston Speedway.  Greg finished 4th in the Points at Charleston Speedway 2002-2003.

The thrill of racing for Greg is the adrenalin rush.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the opening race of the 2003 racing season at Charleston Speedway.  He's most proud of starting out with an older chassis and taking it to the front.
