Shawn Wildman drives the #9w Modified Class car.  His home track is Charleston Speedway.  He lives in Charleston, IL.

Team members helping Shawn are:  Joe & Sharon Winnett, Mick Huckstep, Frank Winnett, Troy Langston, Steve Campbell, Mandy Knorr, Mick Winnett, Kaleb Wildman.  Shawn and Joy Wildman are the car owners.

Shawn started racing in 1998 in the Street Stock Class at Charleston Speedway because it looked like fun, he liked to drink beer and fight.  His first win was in that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Shawn is the side by side action and knowing you beat the best.  His most exciting racing moment was when he totaled the car and ended up in the hospital.  He's most proud of the discipline that it has taught him.

Shawn's racing hero is Davey Allison.
