Jesse Leo
#3
Jesse Leo drives the #3 Hornet Class
car. He lives in Neoga, IL. His home track is Charleston
Speedway. He started racing in
2002 in the Hornet Class at Charleston Speedway after starting in Demo
Derbies at the age of 16 but also going to the races, every week, at
Charleston Speedway. He decided, while in college, to use his
experience and build a race car. His first win was in 2003 in the
Hornet Class at Charleston Speedway. Career highlights include
Points Championship in the Hornet Class at Charleston in 2003.
The thrill of racing for Jesse is to have pride in
knowing that he built and drove a car consistently enough to be Points
Champion. His most exciting racing moment was his first Heat race
win and racing 3 wide against childhood friends, who used to race bicycles
against each other. He's most proud of having his car close to
totaled and managing to fix it and be ready to race the next week. Team

Of racing, Jesse says, "Racing has given me focus
in a positive perspective, taught me good sportsmanship (sometimes Mom has
to remind me), led me toward my degree in Automotive Technology, and
brought my family together consistently once a week for 8 years!".
