Alan Hawkins drives the #17s Modified Class car.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also be found racing at Terre Haute Speedway and Vermilion County Speedway.  He lives in Casey, IL.

Alan started racing in 1992 in the Street Stock Class at Charleston Speedway because it looked like fun.  His first win was in 1994 in the Street Stock Class at Charleston Speedway.  Career highlights include 1997 Super Street Stock Co-Track Champion.

The thrill of racing for Alan is the speed.  His most exciting racing moments are when he's winning.  He's most proud of his Championship.

Alan's racing hero is Jeff Martin.
