Josh Griffith drives t he #97 Modified Class car.  He lives in Newton, IL.  He is found racing at Charleston Speedway, Clay County Speedway, Red Hill Raceway, and Terre Haute Speedway.

He started racing in 1997 in the Modified Class at Sullivan Speedway because he had a car, he loved to watch NASCAR and wanted to try for himself.

The thrill of racing for Josh is the power and speed.  His most exciting racing moment was winning a Heat race at the Terre Haute Action Track because so many greats have won there.  In addition to that, he's most proud of finishing in the top10 in the UMP Points one year.

Josh's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr.

Of racing, Josh says, "It's a lot harder than it looks!".
