Matt Adkins drives the #M2 Hornet Class car.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also be found racing at Vermillion County Speedway.  He lives in Tuscola, IL.

Team members helping Matt are:  Dad, Rog, Jim, Jon, Jimmy, Cory, Kerry.  Matt and Bob Atkins are the car owners.

Matt started racing in 2003 in the Hornet Class at Charleston Speedway after watching his Dad and other family members.  His first win was in '05 in the Hornet Class.  Career highlights include flipping his car and finishing 9th in the Points.

The thrill of racing for Matt is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was racing 3 wide.  He's most proud of finishing 9th in the Points.

Matt's racing hero is Rusty Wallace.
