Bart Smith drives the #s4 Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Villa Grove, IL.  His home track is Charleston Speedway but he can also be found racing at Vermilion County Speedway.

He started racing in 1984 in the Street Stock Class at Charleston Speedway after a friend talked him into doing it.  His first win was in 1985.  Career highlights include 2000 Track Champion at Charleston Speedway, 14 Heat wins, 3 Feature wins and 5 Trophy Dashes.

The thrill of racing for Bart is starting in the back and coming to the front.  His most exciting racing moment was the Saturday night that he took the Hat Trick, which is winning all 3 races that night.  He's most proud of winning the Championship and helping his son with his first year of racing.

Bart's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.
