Scott Plew
#24
Scott Plew drives the #24 Single's Class
car. He lives in Hutsonville, IL. His home track is Coles
County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway,
SIR, Bakersfield Raceway Park, Sweat Springs Motorsports Complex, Pike
County Speedway, and TK Raceway.
He started racing in 2001 in the Singles
Class at Bakersfield Raceway Park because he enjoyed watching and wanted
to start driving. His first win was the same year. He had 2 A
Main wins in 2001, 3 A Main wins in 2002 and 3rd place in the Track
Points. He qualified 4th at the Nationals, 2nd in Trophy Dash, and
5th in Transfer Track Champion.
The thrill of racing for Scott is being
competitive and winning races. His greatest racing thrill was
winning two straight weeks after blowing up motors for many weeks.
He's most proud of winning two weeks in a row and 3 Heat wins and
finishing 5th in the Nationals, 30 lap transfer race.
Scott's racing hero is Steve Kinser.
Of racing, Scott says, "Never quit when
you're doing bad, just wait and things will straighten out and soon you
will win!".
