Joe Jeffries drives the #96j Sportsman Class car. He lives in Terre Haute, Indiana.  His home track is Vermilion County Speedway.

Joe began racing in 1996 in the Thunder Car Class at Lincoln Park Speedway after having been around the sport for his entire life.

The thrill of racing for Joe is slinging the car into a corner then having to straighten it up for the straightaway. His most exhilarating moment was finishing 2nd in a feature at Red Hill Raceway in 2003. He is most proud of his consistency.

Joe's racing hero is Steve Kinser.
