 T. D. Burger

#32

T. D. Burger drives the #32 UMP Modified Class car.  His home track is Fairbury Speedway but he can also be found racing at Farmer City Raceway, Shady Hill Speedway, LaSalle Speedway and Kankakee Motor Speedway.  He lives in Saunemin, IL.

Team members helping T. D. are:  Tim, Don, Jim, Bill B., Bill D.  Melanie Burger is the car owner.

T. D. started racing in 1991 in the Go Kart Class at Pontiac, IL. because his Dad had raced for years.  Having been around racing all his life, it was the natural thing to do.  His first win was in 1992 in the Go Kart class at Pontiac.  Career highlights include Route 66 Champion in 1998, '99 and 2000.

The thrill of racing for T. D. is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was running 3 wide at Shady Hill Speedway.  He's most proud of putting a car completely on it's nose on the front straight away at Medaryville and still being able to drink a beer after the race.

T. D.'s racing hero is Rick Eckert.

Of racing, T. D. says, "There's no rush like it, when you've done it once, you'll do it the rest of your life!".

His favorite racing website is www.4m.net
