Steven Mattingly

Steven Mattingly drives the #7 Sportsman
Class car. His home track is Fairbury Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Farmer City Raceway. He lives in Lexington, IL.

Steven started racing in 2004 in the
Sportsman Class at Fairbury Speedway because dirt is for racing and
asphalt is to get there.
The thrill of racing for Steven is his
need for speed. His most exciting racing moment was when he was
leading the Heat Race for a lap and a half. He's most proud of
finally getting the car to work.
Steven's racing hero is Gary Turpin.
Of racing, Steven says, "Don't do it
unless you have the money!".
