Matt Musgrave

Matt Musgrave drives the #13 Hornet Class car.  His home track is Farmer City Raceway but he can also be found racing at Spoon River Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Macon Speedway, LaSalle Speedway and Fairbury Legion Speedway.  He lives in Peoria, IL.

Team members helping Matt are:  Davey Sills, Don Kalb, Tim Cansino, Forrest Holcomb, Kirk Clouse, Bill & Mike Murphy at Bills Radiator.  Tim Cansino and Matt Musgrave are the car owners.

Matt started racing in 2002 in the Hornet Class at Peoria Speedway because he loves racing and he loves speed.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year at Peoria Speedway in the Hornet Class in '02.

The thrill of racing for Matt is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was last week at Farmer City Raceway winning both the Heat Race and the Feature Race.  He's most proud of the first engine he rebuilt and winning against Gene Kalb in Peoria.

Matt's racing hero is Tony Stewart.

Of racing, Matt says, "It's a good competitive sport for young and old.  Good family time!".
