Matt Musgrave drives the #13 Hornet Class
car. His home track is Farmer City Raceway but he can also be
found racing at Spoon River Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Macon Speedway,
LaSalle Speedway and Fairbury Legion Speedway. He lives in Peoria,
Team members helping Matt are:
Davey Sills, Don Kalb, Tim Cansino, Forrest Holcomb, Kirk Clouse, Bill &
Mike Murphy at Bills Radiator. Tim Cansino and Matt Musgrave are
the car owners.
Matt started racing in 2002 in the
Hornet Class at Peoria Speedway because he loves racing and he loves
speed. His first win was that same year. Career highlights
include Rookie of the Year at Peoria Speedway in the Hornet Class in
The thrill of racing for Matt is the
speed and competition. His most exciting racing moment was last
week at Farmer City Raceway winning both the Heat Race and the Feature
Race. He's most proud of the first engine he rebuilt and winning
against Gene Kalb in Peoria.
Matt's racing hero is Tony Stewart.
