Lisa Shickel

Lisa Shickel drives the #15 Late Model Class car.  Her home track is Farmer City Raceway but she can also be found racing at Fairbury Speedway.  She lives in Bloomington, IL.

Team members helping Lisa are:  Mark Giger, Jarrid Crowell, Chad O'Brien, Jr. Shickel (car owner), Mack Robinson, Stephanie Bess.

Lisa started racing in 2002 in the Go Karts class at Pheasant Run Raceway because she grew up watching her Dad race and she has always wanted to do it because she loves the sport.  Her first win was that same year.  Career highlights include first win in Go Karts and Point Champion at Pheasant Run in 2003. 

The thrill of racing for Lisa is the speed and competition.  Her most exciting racing moment was her first win in Go Karts and her first race in Late Model.  She's most proud of getting better and more comfortable in her Late Model each weekend, because it's her first year.

Lisa's racing heroes are Jr. Schickel and Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Lisa says, "It's a lot of fun and it's a lot more work than just going around in circles!".
