Rick started racing in 1984 in the
Bomber Class at Macon Speedway because of his Father. His first
win was in the same year. Career highlights include Championships
in the Bomber Class 4 years in a row, many wins in the Street Stock
Division, many wins in the Modified Division.
The thrill of racing for Rick is the
speed, he loves flying down the back stretch. His most exciting
racing moment was being able to enjoy it with his family and friends.
He's most proud of his Bomber Championships and many wins in the Street
Stock and UMP Modified Division.
Rick's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Rick says, "If you think that
it is just a good time in a fast car you are wrong. It takes a lot
of skill and a lot of knowing how the car works and how to set it up for
a race! It if doesn't have tits or tires, I'm not messing with
it!".
