Kaleb Wood

Kaleb Wood drives the #72w Sportsman Class car.  His home track is Macon Speedway but he can also be found racing at Farmer City Raceway, Fairbury Legion Speedway, Fayette County Speedway and Charleston Speedway.  He lives in Sullivan, IL.

Team members helping Kaleb are:  Ron Wood - Grandpa, Peggy Wood - Mother, Tyler Stewart.  Norm Wood is the car owner.

Kaleb started racing in 2011 in the Sportsman Class at Fayette County Speedway because his Grandpa and Dad raced and he really thought it would be something to be a 3rd generation driver.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Heat Race win at Fayette County Speedway, coming from 20th place to 5th place at Macon Speedway in '12.

The thrill of racing for Kaleb is going fast!  His most exciting racing moment was winning a 3 wide Heat Race against Michael Posley and Zack Jordan off Turn 4 at Fayette County Speedway.  He's most proud of winning a Heat Race faster than his Dad!

Kaleb's racing heroes are a tie between his Dad and Grandpa (Kaleb took his old number).

Of racing, Kaleb says, "It's one wild ride and it's worth every penny!".
