Lance Johnson drives the #8J Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Farmer City Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lincoln Speedway and Macon Speedway.  He lives in Clinton, IL.

Team members helping Lance are:  Rick, Denise, Todd.  Rick Johnson is the car owner.

Lance started racing in 1998 in the Go-Karts Class at Decatur Speedway because it was a family tradition.  His first win was in 1999 in the Go-Karts Class at Charleston Kart Track.  Career highlights include Go-Karts 3rd place finish in 1999 at Charleston Kart Track, 2nd place finish in 2002 in the Hornet Division at Charleston Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Lance is that he's the youngest in his class and racing with all the older guys.  His most exciting racing moment is winning races. 

Lance's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Lance says, "It takes more than a good car to win!  Go fast and turn left!".
