Don "The Cisco Kid" Cisco III
#DC3
Don Cisco drives the # DC3 Late Model
Class car. His home track is Farmer City Raceway but he can also
be found racing at Macon Speedway, Fairbury Speedway, Vermilion County
Speedway, Tri-City Speedway, Highland Speedway, Kentucky Lake Motor
Speedway and the Springfield Mile. He lives in Oreana, IL.
Team members helping Don are: Dad,
Rick Hill, Richard Cox, Nick Stone, and Casey Cisco. Dad, Rick
Hill and Don are the car owners.
Don started racing in 1994 in the Junior
Go Karts Class at Macon Speedway because Dad raced and they fell in love
with it as a family. They cannot get enough of it. His first
win in the Late Model was in 2005 at Macon Speedway.
His most exciting racing moment was
winning his first race. He's most proud of making the show on the
first attempt at the Springfield Mile against the Stacker 2 Late Models.
Don's racing heroes are C. J. Rayburn,
Shannon Babb on dirt and Dale Earnhardt Sr. in Cup.
Of racing, Don says, "Racing has got to
be the most family orientated sport in the world. Everywhere you
go most teams are only possible because of all the family members who
have backed them over the years. What other sport allows the
family to literally be involved in your success? Dream as if
you'll live forever, Live as if you'll die today!".
