Ashley Wilson

Ashley Wilson drives the #2 Hornet Class car.  She lives in Mulberry Grove, IL.  Her home track is Fayette County Speedway but she can also be found racing at Bond County Raceway, Highland Speedway, Clay County Speedway and Mt. Vernon Speedway.

Team members helping Ashley are:  Daddy, Mom, Cody Matthews.  Daddy and Momma are the car owners.

Ashley started racing in 2002 in the Hornet Class at Highland Speedway for the thrill of it, all of the dangers and possibilities of getting hurt or even killed and because racing is in her blood.  Basically, she is an adrenaline junky!  Career highlights include placing 2nd in her first Consi at Fayette County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Ashley is the danger and possibilities of getting hurt or even killed plus doing it for fun and just having a good ol' time.  Her most exciting racing moment was rolling her car at Fayette County Speedway.  She's most proud of her 2nd place finish in the Consi at Fayette County Speedway.

Ashley's racing heroes are Dad, Mom, Grandpa Carter, Rick Carter and Bobby Carter.

Of racing Ashley says, "Can't run with the big dogs, then stay on the porch with the pups!".
